  New Pioneer Award Winner
  The 2011 winner of the Pioneer Award is Stewart "Buck" Rodgers.  Buck has played with many bands in the area, such as Carolina Charlie's "Heavy Cowboys".  He is one of the finest lead guitarists in this or any other area.  Congratulations, Buck!

THE NEXT JAMBOREE

The next Jamboree is scheduled for February 19, 2012 .  The featured band is Otto Shelor & the Country Ravens.

The Moose Lodge, George Washington Hwy, Portsmouth, VA 3:00 - 6:00PM (Doors open at 2:00 PM)

If you'd like to have your band's schedule listed in the VCMA Newletter, just call Jerry Hayes at 373-0115 or you can email him at jshayes2007@cox.net.  The only requirement is that at least one peron in the band is a current VCMA member.  The deadline for listing is the 20th of each month.
