 Events

• VCMA Jamboree
  
  The VCMA Jamborees are held each month at various location.  The fun includes bands with quest talent, cake walks and shared friendship.

• A Special Performance
  
  On February 5,th, 6th and 7th, the Virginia Musical Theater will be presenting the stage play, "Stand By Your Man," which is the story of Tammy Wynette and her stormy relationship with George Jones.  There'll be lots of good classic country music in the production with both Tammy and George's music.  Jerry Hayes of the VCMA will be playing pedal steel guitar in the production.  They'll have four performances starting with an evening show on the 5th, and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM on the 7th.  The performances will be held at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts at Town Center in Virginia Beach (Independence & Va. Beach Blvd.).

 

Board Meetings

The VCMA board of Directors meeting is usually held on the second Monday of each Month.

The next meeting of the VCMA Board will be 7:00 PM February 8, 2010  at Frank's Truck Stop in Bower's Hill.

These meetings are open to all VCMA members.
